But I’ll make an exception for this wanker.

I understand people have to earn a living, but what he did to the parents of Sandy Hook was beyond the pale.

It’ll be interesting to see if his punishment matches that of a normal person.
Always hard to predict such things in areas that get off on “law and order”, it’s either 10 years hard time or a $50 fine.
And yeah, real POS there. Maybe 45 will pardon him.

Maybe 45 will pardon him.
The fact that we’re even joking about that is appalling. Because it’s actually possible.

I wish the Sandy Hook parents all the best in their lawsuit. Hopefully they take him for everything he has, such that he can no longer afford a car to DUI with.

Isn’t he a sovereign citizen and not subject to our courts?
![]() 03/10/2020 at 18:01 |

I’d like to see him living in a cardboard box under a bridge. Oops, there goes that Schadenfreude again....

You can either be cool and do crimes, or you can be a dorky narc nerd who doesn’t know how to have fun.

In a perfect world he would already be serving a life sentence for what he did to those poor families.

Let’s ask P. Barnes his opinion on that.

Can that bridge be located on the sun?

No need for schadenfreude because karma.

If it’s a state conviction, can POTUS still pardon?
![]() 03/10/2020 at 18:19 |

His bail was only 3 grand? Bail is
a totally different subject, here, but: gimme a fucking break. Let’s hope this is “good riddance,” and not him setting up some antenna under a bridge on 35.

You can go burn down his house now; no need to wait for the courts to act.

Can POTUS pardon if it’s a state conviction?

As far as I know, no, but 45 wants to write his own rules.
A shitload of his cronies and the messiah himself should be strung up on state charges when this shitshow finally runs its course (and the Ds can finally field a viable candidate). But will it happen, I don’t know, fingers crossed.

That’s not a very nice thing to do to Austin’s famous bats...
![]() 03/10/2020 at 18:23 |

No. He might try anyway? Alternatively, I can totally believe Abbott would just do whatever Trump tells him to do.

Honestly I think a normal person wouldn’t get much punishment either for a first offense where no one died or was injured (which it seems like this is?). I don’t think that’s a good thing, at take away their license or install a breathalyzer on all their cars.

That’s just the bail, not the fine, not the towing, not the lawyer, court costs, etc. TxDOT estimated back in 2006 that a DUI in TX would cost you $17,000, and various lawyer pages in TX estimate anywhere from $14k to $21k. Best not to drink and drive.

No, only the governor of that state. But Greg Abbott is a staunch Trump supporter, so who knows?

I laugh. every. time. There is an interview with this nutmeg on the YouTube that I couldn’t manage to watch all of. Did you know he lived at home with his mother? Are you surprised? And I wouldn’t be at all surprised if his mom gets money from the Feds in some form or another.

35 years ago I got a DWI in Virginia and even then, it was a thousand dollars and a suspended license.

I know someone here in WA who got a DUI several years ago. No crash, no injuries. Not a wealthy person, so they ended up with a night or two in jail (after the incident), thousands in fees, and at least several months with an in-car breathalyzer.

Yeah.
And better still not to be a radio guy with an agenda that people listen to, who attacks parents of kids killed in a shooting in their school (can you even imagine? Any of it?
)
, claiming that it was
all a
fucking conspiracy, and en
couraging anyone out there listening to engage in stochastic terrorism.
